Bartholomew Barn is 1.8 miles from the village of Kirdford. Travel along a pretty tree-lined country lane and the entrance to Bartholomew is on the left hand side.
Directions
Approaching from the North.
1.From London and Guildford take the A3 to Milford.
2.Then take the A283 sign posted to Petworth.
3.You pass through various villages, Chiddingfold, Northchaple.
4.On approaching Petworth turn left at the mini roundabout signposted A272 to Wisborough Green and Billingshurst.
5.After 1.6 miles turn left at the top of the hill opposite the lorry route.
6.You are now in Glasshouse lane although there is no road sign.
7.Travel 1.3 miles and you will find the entrance to Bartholomew Barn on your right just past the little cottage.
Approaching from the West.
Take the A 272 from Midhurst through Petworth continue on the A272 turn right at the mini roundabout towards Billingshurst and then follow from number 5. Above.
Approaching from the East.
Take the A272 from Billingshurst to Wisborough Green; continue on the A272 towards Petworth for 2.3 miles. Turn right opposite the sign for Hawkhurst Court. After 0.7 miles turn left. Bartholomew Barn is the next entrance on the left.
Approaching from the south from Chichester.
Follow the A285 through Petworth. At the mini roundabout just north of Petworth follow signs for the A272 towards Billingshurst and Wisborough Green. Then as number 5. above.
